This is the 12th message in our current series, "Ephesians: Glory of the Church". Pastor Mike Drury teaches from the text Ephesians 6:10-15. Paul in this last chapter, challenges the Christ follower to "Stand Firm" and how to do that is to "put on the full armor of God." Mike focuses this week on 3 of the pieces of the armor. The Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness and Gospel of Peace for the feet. Each piece of armor played a vital role in protecting the Soldier, and we are to put on our armor, to defend ourselves against the devils schemes. |

Elder Jonathan Hyde delivers the 11th message in our current series "Ephesians: Glory of the Church" from the text Ephesians 6:1-9. Jonathan, staying primarily in verses 1-4, teaches heavily Paul's picture of obedience within the family structure. We are called to obey our parents because it reflects the importance of God's worth in our lives. Obedience shows trust and authority in God. Paul then moves to the father figure in the home and what a responsibility that is, how to raise their children, train them in the way and instruction of the Lord. |

Pastor Mike Drury returns to teach week 10 of the current series "Ephesians: Glory of the Church". Teaching from the text in the latter part of Ephesians 5, Pastor uses the picture of marriage and the roles of a husband and wife given by Paul. Paul uses the image of Christ and the church to bring the point across and help us clearly understand the magnitude of the roles given to each person. Pastor Mike challenges the couples to focus on fulfilling their roles, and challenges the singles in this message to know the roles, look for a partner that will fulfill the given roles, and not to settle for anything less than the biblical example of a husband or wife. |

In this 9th part of the current series, "Ephesians, Glory of the Church", Elder and Guest Speaker Dave Wilson speaks out of the text Eph. 5:1-21. On this Father's day, He uses Paul's words to challenge us to be imitators, but to imitate God and not those things we see and experience around us. Paul gives examples of the ways of the world that we so often tend to imitate. Paul puts heavy emphasis on all that we are called to do in this first part of the chapter; to wake up, be filled with the Spirit, and to sing songs and make music. |

In this poignant message, guest teacher Jason Rains expounds on the truth that we are not called to simply be good people. We are called to be a spiritually mature body of believers who live our lives in a way that is worthy of the calling we have received. So here's the question...which camp are you in? Are you simply a good person on the outside looking in? Or have you put off the old, allowed yourself to be renewed, and put on your new self all because of what Christ has done in you? |

This is the 7th message in the current series "Ephesians: The Glory of the Church". Teaching through the first part of Ephesians 4, Pastor Mike Drury spends time going through what Paul clearly states as a challenge to the believer; that they have a God given responsibility to honor their calling to be a part of the church by the way they live. Paul gives examples picture of how this is done in our relationships; with humility, gentleness, patience, bearing with others in love, and keeping unity. Paul warns against things that will attack the unity of the church and how to avoid letting those things creep into the church.

If we were honest; most of our time as Christians is spent managing our sin and trying to control its consequences on our lives as opposed to submitting ourselves to fall before the cross and living to glorify God. To fall before the cross means to live in surrender and to submit ourselves to the “Will of God” - which is in essence, allowing the Holy Spirit to control us. It is a discipline that is not easily learned, but has eternal rewards that have no equal.

In the 4th message of this series, "Ephesians, Glory of the Church", Pastor Mike preaches from Ephesians 2:11-21, where there is a focus on the spiritual walls that are sometimes built up between two people groups; in this case the Jews and Gentiles. Paul emphasizes the tearing down of these walls, which only happened through the work of Jesus Christ. The result is the building up the body of the church in unity and love.

The bible says that we are all born enemies of God and separated from Him. Scripture is clear that we are all spiritually dead and cannot choose to save ourselves. God in all of His Holiness chose to call us out of the graveyard and regenerate our hearts so we could be saved by and through Him.

Paul was a praying apostle. He regularly prayed for individuals as well as the churches he helped established. The church at Ephesus was no exception. Paul wanted them to know that he was praying for them - so he told them!
